The Decision is a long-time Milwaukee mystery. It was the second of eight non-consecutive queer spaces to occupy 819 S. 2nd St. since December 1944. First advertised in the April 1976 GPU News, The Decision was an intriguing concept. However, only four months later, the August GLIB Guide explains that the former Decision space has been taken over by new owners "Mike and George" and reopened as the Hideaway. It's possible The Decision was open only four months -- or never opened at all.
