Operating within the former Phoenix / Deja Vu space, Dish was a a new type of women's bar for a new generation. House DJs spun electronic music that packed the dance floor every Friday and Saturday. Over time, the crowd became more mixed, as the venue brought in famous national DJs and expanded upstairs into B-Side, a second-level event space. Owner Julia La Loggia also operated multiple local businesses, including Redroom, Stonefly Brewing Company, and Lee's Luxury Lounge. Sadly, Dish closed on New Year's Day 2003 and the space was reinvented as farm-to-table restaurant Barossa.
