When the original Factory building was sold for redevelopment, Chuck Cicirello opened Factory II at 208 E. Juneau Ave in December 1982. While popular, the new bar was much smaller, more modern, and often very overcrowded. It lacked the wide-open, cavernous warehouse feel that made the Factory so successful. Factory II customers remember a confusing bi-level layout with an open staircase connecting the floors. For many reasons, Factory II never achieved the same level of success as the original location. Factory II closed in September 1984.
