Continuing the Factory legacy, Chuck Cicirello opened the third incarnation in a 6,000-square-foot historic warehouse in November 1986. This location recaptured the magic of the original, with its high ceilings, large dance floor, and impressive lighting and sound systems. Known only as "Factory," the club served tremendous nostalgic appeal, excellent shows, and impressive DJs. However, it struggled to compete with the popular club La Cage, faced challenges with parking and high overhead costs, and was forced to close in June 1987. The building, long believed to be structurally unsound, was demolished in 1990.
