Filibusters opened in 2013 on the Sheboygan waterfront. Owned by Jeff Weinshrott and Dan Senglaub, the bar was located in a vintage 1865 building that was once a brothel. It featured a modern dance floor, lounge, and "straight-friendly" motto, aiming to be a welcoming spot for the entire community. Despite ambitious plans, including turning the second floor into a bed and breakfast, the bar's run as an LGBTQ establishment was short-lived. It was renamed Club Nautilus in 2014 and later sold in 2015, reopening as a straight bar called Harbor Lights, which was featured on the TV show "Bar Rescue."
