Susan Breitbach and Keith Blew opened Fyfe's in summer 1993. The restaurant enjoyed fourteen successful years of hosting diners, banquets, receptions, celebrations, and election night events. However, extended road construction on Washington Avenue -- compounded by an increasingly competitive Madison restaurant market -- led to the restaurant closing in fall 2007.
