The Georgian Guest House, a European-style bed and breakfast in Lake Geneva, first advertised in June 1984, targeting a gay clientele. It featured the Christopher Tea Room and later, after a $45,000 renovation, added Christopher's Bar for "country gentlemen." However, the business was short-lived. Due to a lack of customers, the owner closed the guest house and bar early in October 1985 and expressed doubt about reopening the following year.
