Originally known as Trio's Pizza, the Glorioso family restaurant was an extremely popular late-night dining and cruising destination for local East Siders. By the 1970s, the business was listed in national gay guides. The family closed Italian Villa in 1980 to focus on their grocery business. Since 1986, Emperor of China has operated at this location.
