When Greyhound moved to 7th and Wisconsin in 1965, the gay cruising scene followed. Otto Fenzel, one-time owner of the Fox Bar, and Del Dumont invested in Hunter's Club, a new venture at 645 N. 7th St., to capitalize on Greyhound “trade.” The Hunters Club is listed in City Directories from 1965 to 1972, but only briefly advertised in gay press in 1971. Severely damaged in a 2025 flood, the building (now High Note Karaoke Lounge) expected to renovate and reopen, but was later declared a total loss.
