The Main Club has been an anchor of the Superior LGBTQ community since 1970. In 1983, new owner Bob Jansen reopened the "Main Nite Club" as an official gay bar. After a devastating fire destroyed the original building on December 27, 1996, Bob Jansen relocated the Main Club to Tower Street.
