The Music Box opened in October 1984, taking over the former Lost & Found location. Under new management, the bar was advertised as a place for both men and women with dancing, a DJ, and a new video system. The bar hosted events like its 1984 New Year's Eve party, which offered discounts for "cardholders." However, the Music Box was short-lived, with its last listing in February 1985. The location later became the 27th Street Danceteria. The building is no longer standing.
