My Place was a popular and inclusive neighborhood bar in La Crosse, Wisconsin, that operated for over 20 years. Owned by Brent Anderson and Kevin Maass, the bar was a small but popular spot that attracted a diverse clientele of gay, straight, and transgender individuals. Known for its friendly, community-like atmosphere, it was often described as "a home away from home." My Place was also actively involved in the community, sponsoring pride events and supporting local charities. The bar was sold and permanently closed on March 17, 2020.
