Lesbian Visibility Week might not start until April 20, but a dedicated local team is already active planning, organizing, and raising funds for this year's celebration.
The Winter Thaw Silent Auction kicked off on February 7, offering visitors the chance to bid on amazing prizes, including festival tickets, Packers swag, health and wellness services, restaurant gift certificates, and more!
"The silent auction will connect us with supporters, raise awareness, and generate resources to continue our mission," said Beverly Jenkins, co-chair of the Lesbian Visibility Week Milwaukee Committee. "All funds will directly support initiatives to hold events and offer programming for LGBTQ+ women and nonbinary people."
Online bids will be accepted now through February 28.
The LVW committee is working hard to foster understanding, enhance visibility, and build a lasting, positive legacy for our community highlighting and celebrating the experiences, perspectives, and needs of LGBTQ women and nonbinary people.Read More
