What can you do to support inclusive education in Wisconsin?

Join Origins Workshop with Fair Wisconsin and the History Project on Saturday, May 17
The Origins Workshop Series is part of our collective movement to defend educational equity.

Inclusive education -- sharing the fair and authentic experiences of diverse communities -- is under attack in America.

Wisconsin, once known for its progressive heritage, is now the #4 state in the nation for book bans. As educators, librarians, and administrators are increasingly challenged by efforts to censor, exclude, and even erase content, our history is at greater risk than ever.

So, what can YOU do? More than you even know!

Join our online Origins Workshop on Saturday, May 17 for a supportive, insightful, and interactive conversation with Fair Wisconsin and the LGBTQ History Project Network -- as we explore what every citizen can do to stand up for truth, justice, and socially responsible education in Wisconsin.

We’ll reflect on lessons learned from LGBTQ Equality Day at the State Capitol;  discuss ways to build local coalitions; share best practices for engaging with stakeholders and elected officials; offer recommendations for how, where and when to effectively show up for the cause, and more.

Register online for this FREE event.  A private Zoom link will be shared on the day of the workshop.

The Origins Workshop Series is part of our collective movement to defend educational equity in America. We are proud to partner with Fair Wisconsin to support educators, educate our community, and activate change.
