Fox Valley Transgender Group

The Fox Valley Transgender Group, sponsored by PositiveVoice, was a supportive and caring environment for people who identify as transgender, transsexual, non-binary, Two Spirit, intersex, and anyone who felt outside the social boundaries of gender.  Significant others were welcome to join members for all events.

The transgender group, sponsored by Positive Voice, began as a drop-in night in Green Bay. 

By April 2006, a Fox Valley spin-off group began meeting at the Appleton Public Library on the third Monday night of each month.  Later, the group met at Harmony Cafe.

Kathy Flores, a board member of Positive Voice, assisted with program coordination.  Meeting attendance averaged 15 people per week, with guests coming from as far away as Milwaukee, Waupaca, and Dodge County.

The organization was active until at least May 2015.
