Bill Frank served on the Board of Directors of the Cream City Foundation from 1989 to about 1995, serving one year as its President (1993).

Frank was also active in the Metropolitan Community Church and Plymouth Church.

Bill Frank passed away in April 2022, leaving behind his widow Lou in Minnesota.
