Boom opened (in the old In Between space) as a traditional Milwaukee tavern. Four years later, owner David Panek expanded with the adjoining video bar "Room," an architectural collision of 19th century saloon and 21st century neon. Over the years, many famous adult film stars danced on Boom's bartops.
