In December 2016, Hamburger Mary's relocated its Milwaukee operation to 730 S. 5th St. (formerly La Perla.) For almost eight years, the complex (including a cabaret, corner tavern, rooftop deck, and barcade) brought bedazzling drag dining home to Walker's Point, as well as an annual Fifth Street Festival with outdoor shows. In July 2024, owners Brandon and Ashley Wright announced the building had been sold, and Hamburger Mary's would relocate to a new home. While the Chicago location reopened in summer 2025, Hamburger Mary's Milwaukee remains closed.
