In 1992, Wade Robert Williams and his business partner opened The Other Place. Located in this 1907 Slavic family tavern, The Other Place was envisioned as a white-tablecloth restaurant. After extensive renovating, including a new kitchen, chandeliers, and shag carpeting, the partners quickly exhausted their financial resources. Without any advertising, the Other Place closed in less than a year. We welcome any available information about this location.
