Puss 'n' Boots is a mysterious Racine gay bar with only a few 1977 references to support its existence. Advertisements for the establishment mention a "buy one, get one free" drink special, dance contests, and beer busts. One ad also notes "rooms with saunas on premises," suggesting it may have served as a gay bathhouse. The space was later known as Stealers in 1982, but that gay bar also closed after only a few months. The building has since been razed for Wells Brothers parking. We welcome any available information about this location.
