Rascals Bar & Grill opened in November 1992 and has since become the longest-standing LGBTQ bar in the Fox Valley. Rascals outlasted its main competitors, 1101 West and Pivot Club, to become a pillar of the Fox Valley community. Rascals attracts a loyal restaurant crowd, especially on Friday nights. The bar is also a popular spot for Packer games and is famous for its Christmas decorations. Todd West, who co-opened Rascals in 1992 and has been sole owner since 2000, says the secret to the bar's success is being open every day as a reliable and safe community gathering space.
