Redroom was a stylish and unique bar that launched during Milwaukee's 2001 nightlife renaissance. Owned by Julia LaLoggia, the bar's ambience was deep red, small and intimate, as ideal for conversation as it was for libation. Designed by Scott Genke, the space included a new oak floor, new windows, and a copper-topped bar. The bar was known for its cutting-edge music, including acid jazz and house, making it a "best-kept secret" for those seeking a more low-key neighborhood nightspot. Closed in 2012 to become FInk's.
