Rene's final location, at the intersections of I-94, Park HIll Avenue, and 35th Street, was her largest and most memorable. The crowd was described as a diverse mix of Black women, men, gay, straight, and trans. The bar advertised "music-pumpin', foot-stompin', booty-shakin', party-makin'" experiences with four house DJs. The business closed in ____ when Rene White and her partner moved to Chicago. We welcome any available information about this location.
