The Sheeley House Saloon, housed in a historic 1884 building, has a long history as a bar and boarding house. While currently a "straight" restaurant, the location operated as a gay bar from 1989 until a 2002 ownership change. We've also received reports that the bar was a gay hotspot in the 1970s, but have not yet found any evidence. The building is reportedly haunted. We welcome any available information about this location.
