If you appreciate the History Project's work, we hope you'll support the second fundraiser in our 29-year history!

Station 2 - The Eastern Connection (formerly Gay Street Station) opened in October 1987. Although "Lois and Sheri" missed their target opening date of Sweetest Day, they opened in time for Halloween 1987. Offering a Trollop membership club and women's social events, Station II became a popular South Side gathering spot. Station II maintained a low profile for several years, sometimes using the alternative name "Station No. 2" in advertisements. In November 2001, the bar closed and was replaced by Off the Tracks.
