Switch, formerly known as Mugshots, converted to a gay bar in May 1999 when owner Craig Schoenung (1959-2024) came out. Originally, the bar integrated light switch and light bulb themes into the decor. Switch had large windows, a spacious outdoor patio with a bar and picnic tables, and a small dance floor with a photo booth. It became a popular sports bar after In Between closed, hosting Packer parties led by In Between's former owner, Curt Peck. The bar was also a favorite for its outdoor "Foam Parties," stripper nights, and shirtless bartenders. Switch closed in July 2008 after the owner received an offer he couldn't refuse.
