The Tazzbah, which opened in December 2004, was a bar owned by Steve Scragg and Don Martinson. The bar's name was a combination of "Taz," their cat's name, and "Casbah." The establishment was known for its gorgeous decor, beautiful terraced deck, and gourmet Bloody Marys. It hosted leather nights and a popular Sunday brunch, but its location, several miles from other gay bars, proved to be a challenge. The Tazzbah closed at the end of August 2007 and later became Oscar's Pub & Grill.
