Al Thomas reopened DK's as Triangle, a gay men's bar, in June 1988. The bar was incredibly popular, complementing other local venues and curating local bar talent, for over two decades. Later owned by Rob Bruckner, Triangle is remembered for its 6am opening hours, amazing outdoor patio, strong drink specials, and extremely popular bartenders. Following the 2011 death of final owner James Marr, Triangle found new life with a Friday night EDM event, Taste It. Although staff tried to keep going, Marr's survivors sold the property. Triangle held its final farewell on April 27, 2012.
