Zippers (1993-1996) was the seventh of eight non-consecutive gay bars to operate at 819 S. 2nd St since 1944. Owned by George Prentice, the bar was a popular stop before/after La Cage after the Mint Bar II closed. In 1998, Fluid opened at this address. We welcome any available information about this location.
